Irritating.
Ok you other sahm’s out there should feel me on this one.
My husband has been at work for 11 hours now. That would be all fine and dandy if that was the original plan. But no, he was only supposed to work 8 hours today. Of course, this is not his doing, he planned on being home at 6:30. I even had his dinner ready. Sometimes I think he does not work with anyone else who has a wife and kids at home or maybe they would hurry their butts up so he could leave! (He has to stay and wait until they are done.) If he made mad money maybe I would shut my mouth about it. If I didn’t unexpectedly get stuck home with 3 children for 11 1/2 hours maybe I wouldn’t be so grouchy! I tell him that sometimes it’s a wonder I’m not a drunk! lol.

I know I’m not a FT SAHM, but I’m about 50/50 right now… and the days I don’t work are ALWAYS the days that Ric gets stuck leaving at 7:30am and we *might* see him by 8:30pm in time to say good night… it bites!!

Totally feel ya Lori. What drives me crazy is, we did the 12+ hour days 7 days a week for the first few years we had kids. We kinda had to at first. But he FINALLY gives up the second job and now has one that just keeps him anyways! We’ve paid our dues, I want a husband now!! lol
