Okay, so I finally decided to post this, and it’s pretty exciting. So act like you are excited even if you aren’t!
EM IS TALKING!!! Ok….well not constantly, but if he is in a good mood and calm and uses a lot of effort, he can say: mama AND dada!
Yes, he’s made sound in the past, and plenty of people like to tell me they heard him talk. Well I’ve never gone for it, because it has JUST BEEN NOISE. There’s a big difference. I’m never trying to be negative about it, but I have learned to be realistic. I could explain it, but that would take an hour. The point is: THIS is finally talking. And as we’ve waited an extra 2 years past when most parents hear their kids say these two words, we’re pretty much acting like fools everytime we hear them!
I have my theory’s on why we are having this improvement….we’ll just have to wait and see if what we are doing keeps working.
