today’s thoughts

We had our last visit with Em’s NS before he moves to another hospital. We decided not to do anymore checkups with a different doctor. I am so glad to finally be closing that off and putting it behind us.

I love the color orange lately.

I owe Nic a lot for working so I can stay home and do things like watch the kids find catepillars in the backyard.

God Bless the man who invented Crocs.

I do not like plain Coke. Even if it is in the special glass.

Hmm…should I celebrate Cinco de Mayo? I really just want pizza.

Looking at a friends wedding photos from 7 years ago is very fun…and funny.

Writing my own school ciricculum is not as hard as I thought it would be, but it is time consuming!

Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.

To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Nevertheless, orange is not as aggressive as red. Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain, produces an invigorating effect, and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. As a citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite. Orange is the color of fall and harvest. In heraldry, orange is symbolic of strength and endurance.

Dark orange can mean deceit and distrust.
Red-orange corresponds to desire, sexual passion, pleasure, domination, aggression, and thirst for action.

Wow, thanks Wels. Where did you find that? It’s pretty true, orange makes me happy and energized, which I certainly need around here, lol.

So what we are saying here people is that the color orange is like prozac. Paint your living rooms. ;)
