I finally found local milk!! I have been searching for some for quite some time now and the only kind I found before this had cost me $4.50 a half gallon PLUS a $1.50 deposit. Which, was just crap.

This stuff is AMAZING. Seriously. It is not homogenized, meaning the fat will still separate from the water and you have to give it a good shake before you pour. I don’t know if that is what makes it so much better or not, but oh my goodness, it’s just good! And it has no rbst added, which is a requirement for milk that comes into my house! I don’t think they are certified organic but I am learning you don’t technically have to be to have all the good stuff I am looking for.
If you are interested in more info, click their logo above. They are popping up in retail stores around the state, and I purchased it today at the Westerville Farmer’s Market. The people working the booth were so friendly and fantastic and offered us a sample as soon as we walked up.
I now walk 1/2 mile to get fresh local milk! Woo hoo!

Can you remember having a boyfriend in high school? Did you go to the same school? Do you remember waiting for the end of every class so you could meet him in the hallway and giggle and goof off for 5 minutes?
That’s how I feel everyday waiting for Nic to get home from work! Since his schedule is crazy and we never know what time they’ll let him go I’m always sitting home anxious. Ugh!

What on earth is going on?! It’s been raining every day for oh geez 2 weeks? And today it was freezing! I don’t really know what the temp was but we wore pants and socks and shut all the windows! Tomorrow, July 1st, it is only going to be 55 when we wake up. Brr!

Jackson, and I quote, just said:
“I’m so smart I could blow your underpants off!”

Yes, this is a picture of the front of our new house. It’s yellow and some kind of green or blue color. It desperately needs painted, or at least power washed. But it has the most amazing front porch. I mean, it’s old and needs some work, but it goes across the whole front of the house. It’s covered and deep enough to put several chairs. You can sit all around the railing. We’re on a fairly busy street so there are always cars and people passing. I love it.

The world is a cruel place.
But Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies from COSTCO can make it seem much better for about 90 seconds. If you need one (or two), come on over.

I’m sitting here reading random blogs when I am supposed to be running errands.
I think Nic is painting…
Emery is standing here signing what color everything is on the desk for me. Thank you Emery.
Jackson is refusing to get dressed and building with Lincoln Logs.
Abigail….oh crud…where is Abigail? She was dancing in front of the tv to Hairspray. You know, with a pink dress on and everything.
We are sooo boring.
Gotta go do something productive….well, we’ll see.

On a Thursday afternoon.
There are goldfish and laundry all over the floor. I wish I could wave a wand and all the boxes unpacked themselves. It’s so hot and sticky I try not to move. I’m saying some things that don’t make a whole lot of sense….
I love the smell of Abby’s hair. Jack wrote his friend a letter that is away on vacation, and drew a picture of MegaMan on it. I could kiss Emmy all day long. We’ve been eating cookies and milk.

Yes, I am finally blogging from the new house. But that’s where we are right now…it’s still just a house and not even near being a “home”. I’m absolutely tired of it and can’t wait till this place is in order! If you feel the urge or need to paint, weed, play w/kids while I do those things, etc, come on over!!

See the little one in the front? Yeah, he might be smiling here but he is not doing so well with this whole packing up his stuff thing. Today has been lots of fits and whining and clinging to mom’s leg…. I’m not getting much done! *sigh*
